I'd like to dyno somewhere, Santee is def closer to me, but if we're having a dyno day with the club in Temec, that's cool too. I have no idea what it's gonna put down, I'm hoping for ~240rwhp,and~260+rtq. Should that be about right?

I dunno bout those numbers, what are your mods...those heads sucked major nuts, even with every single bolt on and stock heads I dunno if it would be in the 240 range...
(example: 97 5 spd GT bud with o/r x, mag catback, intake, ported upper plenum, intake spacer only put down 200/290)
Not flamin man, just curious on your complete mod list...

Need cool down time and time to ice the blower

Ouch...I have accufab plenum and TB, cold air, mass air, and exhaust...whatever numbers I put down, its cool, just lets me know how far I have to go :spin:... oh yeah I have hood struts with two stickers, thats gotta be good for an extra 10-20hp.

The 97's come with 215hp // 285tq to the flywheel. Yours is a manual right Emerson? That's about 183hp // 242tq to the rear wheels. I would guess your rwhp would be maybe a bit over the 200 mark.
You would need the pi head swap as Anthony said to see 240.

I've been to the last 3 dyno days, and theres definately a good percentage of flakers...
its cool of them to take walkins, although I wouldn't see why they wouldn't...more money for them...theres definately room for the 10 or so that might come down...
I just hope I don't shoot the sniffer out the tailpipe again

Yes, despite my attempt at perfect scheduling, there are always plenty of guys to screw it up. :rolleyes1 I dont know how many days I've set up, but we've never turned anyone away. Things usually get wound up around 3 to 4 pm, so as long as you are there before that, things should be fine.
It is nicer to sign-up, your best dyno run is then available on-line, otherwise you still can get printouts. Mark can also give you the dynojet file if you want, just bring a disk.

I bought a plasma booster used, curious to see if it will provide much. Supposed to be worth 10 HP or so, but have heard others say they are crap.
I also bought an accufab T/B...but I'm starting to get worried. Bought it used on SVTPerformance last week, paypal'd the $, and its been 6 days and not one word from the guy.
I've posted, emailed, and PM'd him, but he has yet to respond. Its probably fine, but I would just like a quick reply letting me know what is going on. If it should show up before Saturday I should be able to get it installed for the dyno.

JBA is a Mustang dyno, Dyno shop is a DynoJet. The comparisons between the two are NOT comparisons. Different equipment that use different methods and calculations to determine HP. This always makes me crazy.

from what i understand, JBA has a dyno dynamics, not a mustang dyno..mustang dyno's tend to give out HP/TQ figures that are lower than a dynojet.

Well crap, my first screw up on this board! (at least I hope so)
You are correct, JBA is a Dyno Dynamics. However, my other wild accusation still holds. Different methods for calculating the HP will give variation in results. I know everyone wants a big number. Still if you are comparing with someone who dyno'd differently, then its a bad comparison.

even if you have good grades, it means nothing when you can't get into the classes you need because there are so many others trying to get into the same class. the major is a strong one, and obviously a popular one. the classes tend to be big, which is another crappy aspect.

Man, I had been up for 3 days straight, so I was practically falling asleep on my feet. I'm sure it would have been more exciting otherwise.
It was fun to see all the cars get up there, though. Lots of Cobras made an appearance, there must have been 15 of them.
Anyway, here's the chart for a stock 04 GT...
Oh yeah, can anyone explain the A/F reading. What is the perfect number and how do you go about figuring that out?
Thanks,

11.6 is a pretty decent number. It'd be better if that jump between 3,000-3,500 RPM was smoothed out though. (from what I know about A/F ratios......which isn't much.
