Hi,

Sorry for the late notice, I just got on Fontana's site and next Saturday is the last drag event of the fall season.

line up :: 12pm
tickets on sale :: 2pm
tech inspec. :: 2pm
racing starts :: 4pm
racing ends :: 11pm

Basic Technical Requirements
Vehicle must have current vehicle registration, license and a valid proof of insurance (must have all documentation with you at time of registration). NEW FOR 2002 - Cars can be brought into the speedway on Trailers and approved racing slicks are permitted. All vehicles must enter off of Cherry Avenue. The speedway is located at 9300 Cherry Ave., Fontana. Cost - $10 per person to enter the speedway and $10 for a Tech Card to race your vehicle ($20 total).

Anyone want to cruise up there and get some runs in?

I will be going even if noone else can make it. I just need to get my chip re-cal'd since the gear install. Hopefully XMP can do it Sat before I make it up to Fontana.

I really want to go, but I don't know if I'll be back in time. What time do you want to leave in the morning? Come back? Hope I can make it, but I have a lot to do this weekend.

I probably won't be get there until 4pm or so. I'm hoping to cruise up to Aliso Viejo first to get my chip taken care of, then head over to Fontana. Racing's til 10 so any time works coming back.

I'll give you a ring on Friday.

uti is having their drag day down there on saturday too, there is going to be an ass load of people down there, im going to try and get there cause i want to run the cobra

I went up by myself and made it there at 5:05. They weren't letting any more people race which sucked. Here's some pics I took there:

That sucks that you couldnt race Shaun. That track looks extremely tight compared to what Carlsbad was. So that was the last time to run there? When are they opening up again?

Justin, I'm not sure when the next season starts, it just said it's the end of the Fall Season. Once we find out, we'll set up a meet and cruise up when tech opens so we can race.
