New Track to meet at...

Hey im new,i have been to a couple of your meetings,but i rode along with a friend because i dont think bringing my civic would be appreciated,any ways,im sure some of you heard,but some havnt...there is a new 1/8 mile which is good for people who ont want to go all the way to Qualcomm,its at Perris raceway take the 215 to Ramona Expressway and hang a right,then go down and make a left at the track,same prices as Qualcomm,no ride alongs,gates open at 5 close at 10,it isnt so crowded either,mostly muscle,not many imports,you can get many more runs in than you could at Qualcomm. I have only seen 1 Mustang there,mainly chevys, :help:
Im not going to call a meeting or anything cause i dont have my cobra as of yet,but we need more stangs there heh.

Because the speeds at the top end of the track are much faster in the 1/4 mile and require a much longer shut down area.

hmmm the difference between my speeds for an 1/8th and a 1/4 are like 20mph. still... im SURE somewhere around here they could build a 1/4...

Land developers finally got their way. Have you seen it lately? They filled the entire hole with dirt. It's totally level now.

Oh and the reason some places build 1/8th instead of 1/4 might have a lot to do with insurance and permits. Since the speeds on a 1/4 mile get much higher with the Pro cars there is a lot more for them to be insured against.
