I only paid 1500 for the entire car, it was wrecked, possibly stolen, but i didn't care, it was cheap, the rest is because the bottom end was slapping pistons, so I picked up an 07 block with less than 4000 miles on it for 900 dollars and swapped over some shit, like crank rods, but not the pistons. I still had to pick up things like a pump, radiator and the CAC intercooler up front, so it added up from some parts no usable.

You are correct on the TERMINATOR motor, but he found a good deal on a GT500 motor and decided to go that rout instead. Just waiting on money. His wife needs a truck before he gets his motor. It all comes down to priorities. I just got engaged and for the money I paid for the ring, I could have had two whipple superchargers, so I know his situation all too well.

you should it looks good. when it dried i sanded the paint off the cobra calipers and polished it up a little bit. i loved how it looked. i didnt however get around to blacking out my back calipers and i should have.

Try letting the paint dry for 30 minutes and then taking a flat tip xacto knife to the letters. To me it works better than sanding.

Well the calipers are already blackish grey color, what ever the factory ones are, but I don't want the words cobra to be noticeable so that would defeat my purpose. I don't even really like having the 03-04 cobra wheels on my car, but i didn't feel like putting the money into wheels and tires at the time so I kept them from the other car for wider tires, the 245's didn't hook for shit after I swapped everything.

Agreed..had 04 Cobra front brakes on my 02GT back in the day and painted the entire brake and left the letters painted also.
