The color's not bad, but I'm not wild about the "lowered" look from the body kit on that Camaro. That being said, I like it a LOT better than the HCM build. There's fit & finish to it!

I don't know much about the guy aside from incidents I've read online. That being said, you have to appreciate the level of ineptness displayed compared to the level of self-hype.

He seems to be playing way out of his league right now. Taking a major endorsement from Hot Wheels and showing the product off at a major car show? That's an a-game type of project. I wonder what Hot Wheels said to HCM when they saw how messed up the car was. If i was Hot Wheels, I would DEMAND some kind of explanation for that embarrasment of a what they call, "A Built Car". I can bet Hot Wheels or any company that sponsored them, wont be spending their time with HCM.

If the show Overhauling/ Chip Fosse can build a heck of a car in 7 days. Then I say HCM had more than enough time to do their build. To show up at SEMA and show that POS, that is just unexcusable, and it looks terrible on the builders.

I doubt we'll ever know, but it'd be interesting to know the terms of the endorsement. I want to think a HW rep would occasionally check in on the progress of the vehicle. At the very least check it out at completion and say, "Woah.. hey.. yeah.. about that Camaro... that's like a draft right?"

are you talking about the SEMA parking lot? that was part of the show. what most likely happened was that when the SEMA crew saw the car they parked it in the worse spot possible that would get the least visibility because thats where it was and most likely the only reason they even let it into the show (because they can turn them away last second) was because of the HotWheels connection.

I'd be furious too if i were the owner. I couldn't imagine having to wait so long to get my hands on the car, just to have it transformed into this overnight. Looking closely at the pics I realize just how many flaws the car actually bares..... completely unacceptable. This project should have gone to a creditable shop. I'm surprised HotWheels didn't do more research on this. The Mustang they did looks almost as bad, gaps and missing trim abound throughout. What a shame, two perfectly looking vehicles ruined by bad taste.
