View Full Version : SoCalStangs / Lost Angels / SCHP / WHSD Barbeque, Sat, Dec 3rd, Doheny State Beach

Trying to see if anyone would want to have a big barbeque with some of the other mustang people in the SoCal area. I was thinking on a Saturday in early December to give everyone enough time to plan for the event. Location would be somewhere in the middle of Los Angeles and San Diego that we can barbeque and have enough parking for all of our cars.

Please post up if you would be interested in going and any input regarding this.

It wouldn't be on a Friday. Evenso then the Sat before would probably work. I posted on Lost Angels and SCHP so I'll see what they have to say.

Cool...as long as I have approx. 2 weeks notice I can get the day off, I already have Sundays off so that would be ideal.

As far as location, San Clemente was an idea. Anyone know that area? Linda also mentioned a park up in Anaheim that is supposed to be really good but that is a little farther North.

I'd go but I work retail. From the day after Thanksgiving until the end of the year, I only get one day off per week. The chances of it being the day of the BBQ are slim.

I'll be there if it's possible, though.

Richard lives in San Clemente, he might know a good spot, I can also ask around in my club because there are several members that live in OC. Plenty of parks on the coast/beaches that would be perfect but then we would need to get their real early to get parking.

Are we talking a daytime BBQ or evening BBQ. There are plenty of state parks between SD and LA for daytime stuff. Off the top of my head, San Onofre, Laguna Niguel, Irvine Park, Mile Square among others. Evening would be something different all together.

San Onofre trails would be a good choice because there is parking for days there and plenty of spots for BBQ's.

Theres also dohney state beach, plenty of parking.... Its a state park so i think you have to pay like 10 bucks to get in so thats lame....

I would be down to go! saturday would work fine for me. As long as i have a 1-2 weeks notice of the exact day, I can get it off.

We are implementing CQM Table 3 that day, but I managed to get out of it. Being the senior Staff Sergeant in the company rules! See ya there guys!

With you guys bro. I published the same post you guys have here in our boards from Shaun to meet at the mall at the prescribed time. Unless that has changed, we will all cruise up with you guys. Bigger cruises are better in my opinion.
