MCRD Car show this weekend Dec 3rd

Just FYI -

I know there is the Doheny State Beach meet on Sat, but for anyone else who is sticking around town, and looking for somethign to do, this might be good. I went with the SVTOA bunch last year and it was a good little show (even though we got rained on)

Info from MCRD:
Our goal is to host an Annual Car Show with the idea of giving the Military members the opportunity to see and admire your cars and get ideas for their personal projects. The Car Show is scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The fee is $5.00 & a new unwrapped toy that will go towards the Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” program.

This is a great opportunity not only for our service members who are unable to go home for Christmas, but also for the family and friends of those Military members that live in the San Diego area.

Anyone wants more info, PM and I can email you registration form and such that the guy sent me.

I was planning on going to this one but forgot it was the same day as doheny, so I wont be making it this year....D'OH!!!!!

Its open to all cars correct, and has some exotics even show up or is that a different toys for tots?

Yep, its open to anyone. $5 and an unwrapped toy gets you in. Saw a few exotics last year, but many bugged out when the rain came. (wimps!)
